چکیده

− The prompt photon production in ~p − ~p collisions at high energies is studied. Double-spin asymmetry ALL of the process is calculated by using Monte Carlo code SPHINX. A possibility to discriminate the spin-dependent gluon distributions and to determine sign of ∆G is discussed. Detailed study of expected background, such as π production and decay, is given. The predictions for the longitudinal asymmetry ALL of the prompt photons and π-meson production in the ~p − ~p collisions at RHIC energies have been made.

We demonstrate that Higgs boson production in fusion processes is accompanied by large azimuthal asymmetry. This asymmetry can be used to facilitate detection of Higgs boson events. We also demonstrate that the double Higgs boson production at threshold is a very appropriate process to test the existence of new physics at higher energy .
